Au-Bí[Se-hong] Su-sióng kah Lô-má-jī/歐美[西方]思想kah羅馬字

Chiòng-gī-īⁿ gī-oân Tagawa Daikichirō

Kín-hō kùi cha̍p-chì chhòng-khan, tiong-sim kám-siā hō͘ góa ū ki-hōe kóng kóa chiok-hok ê ōe.

Bián-kóng mā chai, chū Bêng-tī sî-tāi í-lâi, Ji̍t-pún ē-tàng tit-tio̍h kin-á-ji̍t ê chìn-pō͘, chú-iáu sī in-ūi se-hong su-sióng ê un-sù, í-ki̍p Ji̍t-pún tī hit lāi-bīn ū chin-sim chiap-siū chiah-ê su-sióng ê kiat-kó. Chi-ná ê châi-hù tōa-tōa chhiau-kòe Ji̍t-pún, jîn-kháu chin chē, jî-chhiáⁿ kah Au-Bí ê koan-hē pí Ji̍t-pún khah chá, khiok hām lo̍h-khì soe-pāi, koan-kiàn sī Chi-ná bô chhiūⁿ Ji̍t-pún án-ne ha̍k-si̍p se-hong su-sióng, chún-kóng ū teh o̍h, mā sī pe̍h-ba̍k ka khòaⁿ bē khí, kiau-ngō͘ in ê Tiong-hôa bûn-hòa, khiàm-khoeh khiam-pi lâi sêng-ì chiap-siū ê kiat-kó, che sī cha̍p lúi ba̍k-chiu teh-khòaⁿ, cha̍p ki chhiú teh kí, chi̍t-sut-á gî-būn to bô ê sū-si̍t. Só͘-í, Tâi-oân chheng-liân lia̍t-ūi, tio̍h su-khó kòe-khì to̍k-chun Tiong-hôa bûn-bêng ê chióng-chióng pè-toan, m̄-thang koh-chài tîm-lûn tī kū su-sióng kah mî-chiⁿ hiah-ê pháiⁿ si̍p-kòan, tio̍h kah Ji̍t-pún lâng kāng-khóan, lâi jia̍t-chêng ha̍k-si̍p Au-Bí ê su-tiâu.

Thiaⁿ-kóng chhái-iōng Lô-má-jī sī pang-chān Tâi-oân hoat-tián siōng iú-hāu ê chhò-si. Tú chhin-chhiūⁿ thâu-chêng só͘ su̍t, Chi-ná bô beh o̍h se-hong ê ha̍k-su̍t bûn-hòa, koh léng-bo̍k ka hut-lio̍k, só͘-í tī sî-sè lo̍k-ngó͘, chiah lâi tú-tio̍h kin-á-ji̍t ê chhám-kéng. Chi-ná khin-sī Au-Bí ê se-hong ha̍k-su̍t bûn-hòa, kiám-chhái ū chin chē gôan-in, m̄-koh, góa siong-sìn siōng tōa ê gôan-in sī bûn-jī chi hō. Bô siáⁿ thang hôai-gî, Hàn-jī sī chi̍t pō͘ khùn-lân koh gāi-gio̍h ê bûn-jī; chin chē lūn-su̍t kóng-khí Chi-ná lâng tōa-to-sò͘ m̄-bat Hàn-jī sī chi̍t-ê khòaⁿ hiān-hiān ê sū-si̍t chèng-bêng. Chi-ná chū kó͘ í-lâi to̍h chin chió teh o̍h Hàn-jī, tōa-to-sò͘ ê lâng bô teh o̍h Hàn-jī, só͘-í chin chē lâng bô siū-kòe kàu-io̍k; hiah-ê siū-kòe kàu-io̍k ê lâng, mā bô teh koan-sim kok-ka ê heng-soe, put-kóan kok-ka ê lī-ek, heng-bông kah khí-khí lo̍h-lo̍h ê sî-sè; kan-taⁿ ū chió-sò͘ lâng chham-ú kok-ka ê chèng-tī, hū-tām kok-ka ê chûn-bông, tōa-to-sò͘ ê jîn-bîn bô hèng-chhù lâi chhap. Che to̍h sī Chi-ná soe-pāi ê gôan-in, chiū án-ne it-chài kái tiâu oāⁿ tāi. Hó-jī-ūn ê sī, Ji̍t-pún ū tùi Chi-ná hia o̍h-tio̍h mi̍h-kiāⁿ, m̄-koh, Ji̍t-pún ê le̍k-sú tiong-kan, ū Tîn-goân sī heng-khí, Goân sī heng-khí, Pêng sī heng-khí, Pak-tiâu sī heng-khí, Chiok-lī sī heng-khí, Tek-chhoan sī heng-khí, lóng chhiong-móa pi-siong kah hùn-khài.

Tùi jîn-lūi sî-tāi ê tì-hūi thêng-tō͘ lâi kóng, tùi che ū gî-būn pēng m̄-sī bô tō-lí, m̄-koh tùi tong-kim jîn-lūi tì-hūi ê thêng-tō͘ lâi khòaⁿ, che hō͘ lán sán-seng liân-bín kah put-bóan. Che sī bē-tàng phiah-bián ê, in-ūi hit tong-sî ê Ji̍t-pún, mā kan-taⁿ ū chió-sò͘ lâng teh o̍h Hàn-jī, tōa-to-sò͘ ê lâng bô o̍h Hàn-jī, só͘-í chū-jiân ē-tàng liáu-kái kî-tiong ê gôan-in. Chóng-.sī, tùi Bêng-tī sî-tāi khai-sí, Ji̍t-pún to̍h chhái-chhú phiah-bián tùi Chi-ná ha̍k-si̍p, kái hiòng Au-Bí ha̍k-si̍p ê chèng-chhek, chīn-sim chīn-ì tī Ji̍t-pún jîn-bîn tiong-kan khai-hoat kàu-io̍k ki-hōe, Ji̍t-pún ê bûn-ha̍k ūn-tōng to̍h chiām-chiām hoat-tián khí-.lâi. Kiat-kó, tī Chi-ná thêng-tùn put chêng ê tông-sî, Ji̍t-pún chiū án-ne chhiau-oa̍t Chi-ná, soah ē-tàng î-chhî kin-á-ji̍t ê sēng-hóng. Tong-jiân, kah che tông-sî, Ji̍t-pún bô chhái-iōng Lô-má-jī, khiok sī koat-tēng hūn-ha̍p sú-iōng Hàn-jī kah ká-miâ.

Só͘-í, tùi Hàn-jī ê khùn-kéng tiong kái-thoat chhut-.lâi, tī chiap-siū se-hong su-sióng hong-bīn mā iû-gôan ū chin chē lī-piān. Nā-sī Ji̍t-pún hit tong-sî gōan-ì chhái-iōng Lô-má-jī, kin-á-ji̍t ê chìn-tián to̍h m̄-nā sī án-ne. Ū lâng teh lūn-su̍t Ji̍t-pún ê chheng-liân lâng eng-kai koh khah iông-ī liáu-kái bûn-jī, ē-tàng pôe-ióng koh khah chē ê tì-hūi. Chòe-kīn kúi nî lâi, chit hong-bīn ê piān-lūn piàn kah koh khah oa̍h-thiàu, kah-ná ū jú lâi jú chē ê oa̍h-tāng tng teh chìn-hêng. Koh khah chìn chi̍t-pō͘ lūn-su̍t, nā-sī Ji̍t-pún tī tē-it pái î-sin chi chho͘ to̍h hòng-khì Hàn-jī lâi chhái-iōng Lô-má-jī, án-ne kin-á-ji̍t ê Ji̍t-pún chìn-pō͘ bē thêng-liû tī kin-á-ji̍t ê chúi-chún. M̄-koh nā tī koh khah tōa ê chân-chhù téng-bīn lâi khòaⁿ, khéng-tēng ū chi̍t kóa ta̍t-tit kēng-cheng ê tē-pō͘, jî-chhiáⁿ khó-lêng kah se-hong kok-ka pí khí-.lâi koh khah ū kēng-cheng la̍t.

Kin-á-ji̍t ê Tâi-oân sī khiā tī Ji̍t-pún tē-it pái ho̍k-heng ê kai-tōaⁿ, tio̍h í Ji̍t-pún ê tē-it pái î-sin ê keng-giām chò chham-khó, khó-lī hit tong-sî ê pè-toan, koat-tòan chhái-iōng Lô-má-jī, tio̍h phah-piàⁿ lâi phó͘-ki̍p. Che sī chheng-liân ê sū-gia̍p, m̄-sī lāu-lâng ê sū-gia̍p.

"Tâi-oân chheng-liân" cha̍p-chì tio̍h chióng-lē phó͘-ki̍p Lô-má-jī, góa siong-sìn tāi-ke ē chīn-la̍t lâi phah-piàⁿ. Khèng-chiok chhòng-khan ê chit sî, che sī góa sim-lāi î-it ê ǹg-bāng. Bêng-tì ê chò-hoat sī, ēng khiam-pi ê sim-thài lâi ha̍k-si̍p se-hong su-sióng, m̄-thang koh kè-sio̍k ha̍k-si̍p kū sè-le̍k pá-chhî ê Hàn-jī, cho̍at-tùi m̄-thang koh bê-su kū su-sióng soah siū khún-pa̍k. To̍h sī só͘-ūi ê "khì Hàn", chhái-iōng Lô-má-jī, thang hō͘ tōa-to-sò͘ ê Tâi-oân tó-bîn ē-tàng chiap-chhiok-tio̍h hong-hù ê bûn-hòa, mā ǹg-bāng ūi bó-kok ê Ji̍t-pún chò khai-hòa chìn-pō͘ ê bô͘-hōan. 謹賀貴雜誌創刊,衷心感謝hō͘ 我有機會講kóa祝福ê話。

免講mā知,自明治時代以來,日本ē-tàng得tio̍h今á日ê進步,主要是因為西方思想ê恩賜,以及日本tī hit內面有真心接受chiah-ê思想ê結果。支那ê財富大大超過日本,人口真chē,而且kah歐美ê關係比日本khah早,卻陷落去衰敗,關鍵是支那無像日本án-ne學習西方思想,準講有teh學,mā是白目ka看bē起,驕傲in ê中華文化,欠缺謙卑來誠意接受ê結果,這是十蕊目chiu teh看,十支手teh指,一屑á疑問都無ê事實。所以,台灣青年列位,tio̍h思考過去獨尊中華文明ê種種弊端,m̄-thang koh再沉淪tī舊思想kah mî-chiⁿ hiah-ê pháiⁿ習慣,tio̍h kah日本人仝款,來熱情學習歐美ê思潮。

聽講採用羅馬字是幫贊台灣發展siōng有效ê措施。Tú親像頭前所述,支那無beh學西方ê學術文化,koh冷漠ka忽略,所以tī時勢落伍,chiah來tú-tio̍h今á日ê慘境。支那輕視歐美ê西方學術文化,kiám-chhái有真chē原因,m̄-koh,我相信siōng大ê原因是文字之禍。無啥thang懷疑,漢字是一部困難koh gāi-gio̍h ê文字;真chē論述講起支那人大多數m̄-bat漢字是一个看現現ê事實證明。支那自古以來to̍h真少teh學漢字,大多數ê人無teh學漢字,所以真chē人無受過教育;hiah-ê受過教育ê人,mā無teh關心國家ê興衰,不管國家ê利益、興亡kah起起落落ê時勢;kan-taⁿ有少數人參與國家ê政治,負擔國家ê存亡,大多數ê人民無興趣來chhap。這to̍h是支那衰敗ê原因,就án-ne一再改朝換代。好字運ê是,日本有tùi支那hia學tio̍h物件,m̄-koh,日本ê歷史中間,有藤原氏興起、源氏興起、平氏興起、北條氏興起、足利氏興起、徳川氏興起,lóng充滿悲傷kah憤慨。

Tùi人類時代ê智慧程度來講,對這有疑問並m̄是無道理,m̄-koh tùi當今人類智慧ê程度來看,這hō͘ 咱產生憐憫kah不滿。這是bē-tàng避免ê,因為hit當時ê日本,mā kan-taⁿ有少數人teh學漢字,大多數ê人無學漢字,所以自然ē-tàng了解其中ê原因。總是,tùi明治時代開始,日本to̍h採取避免tùi支那學習,改向歐美學習ê政策,盡心盡意tī日本人民中間開發教育機會,日本ê文學運動to̍h漸漸發展起來。結果,tī支那停頓不前ê同時,日本就án-ne超越支那,soah ē-tàng維持今á日ê盛況。當然,kah這同時,日本無採用羅馬字,卻是決定混合使用漢字kah假名。

所以,tùi漢字ê困境中解脫出來,tī接受西方思想方面mā猶原有真chē利便。若是日本hit當時願意採用羅馬字,今á日ê進展to̍h m̄-nā是án-ne。有人teh論述日本ê青年人應該koh khah容易了解文字,ē-tàng培養koh khah chē ê智慧。最近幾年來,chit方面ê辯論變kah koh khah活跳,kah-ná有jú來jú chē ê活動當teh進行。Koh khah進一步論述:若是日本tī第一pái維新之初to̍h放棄漢字來採用羅馬字,án-ne今á日ê日本進步bē停留tī今á日ê水準。M̄-koh若tī koh khah大ê層次頂面來看,肯定有一kóa值得競爭ê地步,而且可能kah西方國家比起來koh khah有競爭力。

今á日ê台灣是khiā tī日本第一pái復興ê階段,tio̍h以日本ê第一pái維新ê經驗做參考,考慮hit當時ê弊端,決斷採用羅馬字,tio̍h phah拚來普及。這是青年ê事業,m̄是老人ê事業。

「台灣青年」雜誌tio̍h獎勵普及羅馬字,我相信大家ē盡力來phah拚。慶祝創刊ê chit時,這是我心內唯一ê ǹg望。明智ê做法是,用謙卑ê心態來學習西方思想,m̄-thang koh繼續學習舊勢力把持ê漢字,絕對m̄-thang koh迷思舊思想soah受捆縛。To̍h是所謂ê「去漢」,採用羅馬字,thang hō͘ 大多數ê台灣島民ē-tàng接觸tio̍h豐富ê文化,mā ǹg望為母國ê日本做開化進步ê模範。

我祈求鑒納,赦免我烏白講ê所在。
